In 2009 five professional musicians who share a musical sensibility and human touch decide to form the band Shades of Blue.
Their hope is to make live music accessible to everyone – individuals and businesses alike.
Their jazz background leads them to continually enlarge their repertoire, adding an ever-greater diversity of musical styles.
Since its inception, Shades of Blue has had the pleasure of playing for a wide variety of events and sharing with the public the joy of live music !
Meet the Musicians
Our musicians have attended the most rigorous music schools and conservatories in France and abroad.
Each member of the band brings a wealth of experience which contributes to the cosmopolitan nature of the group.

Shades of Blue is composed of a saxophone, guitar, double or electric bass, drums and female vocalist. We can also provide a piano/keyboard and vibraphone on request.
The group plays in multiple ensembles : from trio to quintet (3 to 5 musicians), purely instrumental or with a female vocalist… Don’t hesitate to ask if you have an idea in mind (duo, sextet…) we will do our best to accommodate you !
Shades of Blue is based in Paris. The group plays regularly in the Paris metropolitan area, as well as throughout France and internationally.
Shades of Blue is legally represented by Vesper Productions.
