Your Event, Our Expertise

Over the years we have played for hundreds of private events, and are honored to have shared these privileged moments with our clients and their guests.

Shades of Blue is available for all types of event :

Birthdays, cocktail partys, private concerts, dinners, theme parties (please see our « Theme Party » page), surprise parties… not to mention major occasions such as a Bar or Bat Mitzvah, Marriage or other ceremony…

We play all types of venues, indoors and out :

Reception Hall, Restaurant, Church, Private Residence, Garden…

Private Event – May We Suggest ?

Cocktails :

To accompany drinks we suggest an elegant mix of Jazz, Bossa Nova and / or Lounge.

For example : A mix of Lounge and Smooth Jazz, for an elegant and cosmopolitan evening (Sade, Grover Washington, Al Jarreau…)

We are also happy to accommodate special requests (Pop, French Standards…).

For cocktail-hour we recommend a trio, quartet or quintet.

Dance Party :

For a festive evening sure to keep your guests on their toes we re-interpret the greatest hits of R&B, Soul, Rock’n’roll and more.

Quintet only.

Themed Party :

Looking for a unique party idea ? How about a Themed Party ?

Swinging 30s : The Cotton Club. The Savoy. Music by the kings of Swing — Glenn Miller, Benny Goodmann, Duke Ellington…. Possibility of adding dancers. We recommend a quintet.
Film Music : James Bond, Star Wars, Grease, Footloose, Pretty Woman…A festive evening of Cinema’s greatest hits. We recommend a quintet.

Shades of Blue has a vast musical repertoire to satisfy your most outrageous desires. Let us know what you have in mind and we will do our best to propose a program. We are also happy to play several different musical ambiances over the course of your event.
